The No-Dachi was a long and heavy sword that usually required both hands to use it. These samurai have a high attack rating and a poor defensive one, as the heavy sword was easy to swing with but more difficult to parry. They wore little armour, because the sword weighed them down enough already. This means these troops are capable of killing very quickly, but also of dying very quickly. In hand-to-hand combat they are incredible, but are cut down easily by archer fire. To use them effectively keep them behind a unit of Yari Samurai who can absorb arrow fire, or keep them at the back of your army ready to charge in where they are needed most.
