Loed Krazy's New Demo Units.

 These are not official files, but created by fans.

Beginning in the first week of august Lord Krazy was deciphering the way the Demo accessed and loaded units and their weapons shields etc.

During this he realised we could emulate the missing units by copying existing ones and renaming them.

These are Lord Krazy's Mod Packs for the MTW Demo, follow the instructions in the read me files and all will be well.

They are for the MTW Demo only, and install many new unit types, as well weapons and shields for a number of units that are missing them in the demo.

They're not perfect, but a heck of a lot of work went into making them work, and they certainly whetted my appetite...

I suggest install them in the order listed here.

Lord Krazy's Notes :-
The shield tga in facshields will only go with a item shield if the shape matches i.e. if you put 3 in orderoffootsoldier_S.txt and you play as the english or french you get a templar cross if you put 4 you get the lions or the flur because the canvas for order tga is no the same size,know what i mean caus i barly do, but i have put a big santiago cross on shields1 for the knights useing the highroyal

OK this is very simple but correct I think, to make a weapon appear for a unit from the original units ,i.e. fuedalfootknights you create a weapons_W file in chainHlm for the unit.Know if you open Weapons.txt you should see

each line is a weapon therefor if you have 4 strings you have 4 weapons to choose from.So if you put 1 in the weapons_W file and if you have the correct folder in items/weapons1 then you should get weapons1 displayed which is a straight sword 2=curved sword 3=poleake type thing (JanissaryHeavyInfantry) 4=lance

On my system I use 1,4 which gives me sword and lance ,I remove the files bar fight.txt in weapons1 and replace the fight.txt in weapons4 with the stand.txt so you only see the sword when it's mano a mano and you get the lance for charging but he won't use it to fight . I also do this with hospitaller but not in my mod because I wanted people to notice sword and lance togeather to know it was possible.

put pikemen folder from w6 into w7 and you got a pike.just make sure you got the unit folder in the weapons folder that coorisponds with the number in the _W.txt hope this helps

My files are not the same because I made them myself, by mixing and matching and existing bifs and actionpages and sometimes weapons and shields folders and adding _W and _S files. I hope you understand what I am saying ,it's very simple really .
