Units
Knowing the capabilities of the different units is vital if you want to go anywhere in Shogun: Totalwar. In a battle you might need to know which units should be used to counter different enemy units, which units should be held back, and which can absorb lots of arrow fire, etc. Learning which combinations of units work best together is also useful in planning strategies and building armies.
