NEW Maps for STW WE/MI - Saturday, September 29, 2001
New maps for online/custom play with STW MI and WE. GoldFish made his first map GF-Totomi, I hope we'll see more maps from him soon.

Kraellin assembled his own mappack: ten different maps in one zip.
The maps included in this pack are:
1. K's_BorderFort-32 (a reinforcements map)
2. K's_DuelingCastles-1 (2 castles on one map facing each other in gun range)
3. K's_Dune-14 (inspired by the re-make of 'Dune')
4. K's_Emperor'sHome-19 (a large castle complex...the emperor's palatial estates)
5. K's_Highlands-13 (very scenic, but large impassable zones)
6. K's_High-Low road-16 (one wild feature on this one)
7. K's_Ninja grounds-7 (a variety of obstacles and hiding places)
8. K's_The Creek-11 (interesting water)
9. K's_The Swamp-14 (interesting water here also)
10.K's_Unzen Again-13 (a remake of the original Unzen in STW)

New Patch Underway! - Monday, September 17, 2001
After much dissapointment and rants, Richie Skinner, the Creative-Assembly marketing manager, has stated that a new patch is underway for The Mongol Invasion add-on pack! The developers have taken the constructive criticism and bug reporting from the forums and decided to create a patch which hopefully will cover all the major issues found. A feature list will be issued - stay tuned for it soon. A beta version will also be released soon, we hope to have it as soon as possible. Read more on this here.

Since the x-pack is selling well, loads of new maps, scenarios and historical campaigns were promised by Richie too. Let's hope they really come this time! In the meantime you can download the latest official The Mongol Invasion movie available in Quicktime format and presented in 2 versions: low-resolution (4 mb) or high-resolution (11 mb).

While The Warlord Edition is available on shelves everywhere in the US, The Mongol Invasion is now also available from Amazon UK.

Attack on US - Wednesday, September 12, 2001
On behalf of all the .Org staff we wish to express our deep sincere condolences to the families and friends of the thousands of innocent people killed last Tuesday in the terrorist attack on the United States of America.

We are all deeply sorrowed about this tragic event and we all pass our thoughts and prayers to those who were affected by this terrible tragedy.
