	Writing Contest Winners - Saturday, August 28, 2004
	The Org's first Writing Contest has concluded, and the judges have unanimously declared the winners to be: 1. Monk, and 2. The_Emperor who will now receive their prizes (Monk is awarded free custom artwork by Dimeolas, our resident graphic artist. The_Emperor has won a Japanese Calligraphy Set). Congratulations to the winners, and a hearty "Well Done!" to all who submitted stories for consideration. 	Password Retrieval - Saturday, August 7, 2004
	As you may all be aware the passwords on the Ikonboard forum were encrypted, the encryption method on the new VB forum is different (naturally) so we could not simply transfer accounts and keep the original passwords. Your accounts are still valid, but you need to request a new automated password, Go here to request a new password Lost Password Recovery Form fill in the details and an email will be sent to you, (takes less than 2 minutes) The first email is NOT your new password! It is a confirmation email that your account name matches the email linked to it. In that email find this line: To reset your password, please visit the following page: and click the link provided BEFORE doing anything else. Then an automated password will be emailed to you. I urge you all to change your password to something you can remember because once again we have gone with an encrypted system, if you lose/forget your password you will have to go through the above process all over again. cheers, Barocca Barocca

	The new board is finally running, you can visit it here: http://forums.totalwar.org/vb This board uses a different method to encrypt passwords, which means that you won't be able to login with your old password. Simply use Lost/reset password and check your e-mail to obtain a new password. Some people reported that their e-mail service consider the password e-mail junk mail. So check your junk mail when you do not receive a lost password confirmation. This is especially true for Yahoo and MSN. In some cases you'll get totally stuck: some user names are not properly converted and so your account appears to be totally lost. But it's also possible that your e-mail isn't updated.
