Registration working again. - Tuesday, August 27, 2002
The mailserver that's used to send passwords works again, thus new registrations are accepted. If you did register lately, but haven't received your password yet, please contact me at tosainu@totalwar.org. I'll retrieve your password, this is the only way to get your original nick working (as it already is registered).

Sir Kuma sama had to leave the org because of a new career.
I wish to thank him for the many good things he's done for the org, first as MTW forum moderator and after the departure of Anssi sama as dojo administrator and wish him good luck with the new job.
I'm sure that I speak on behalve of every org patron when I say that you'll be missed Sir Kuma.

I'm the new Forum Administrator, I'll do my best to keep the dojo a comfortable place to discuss game and not game related stuff.

Solypsist is working hard to make graphics to give the dojo a MTW look. When that work is finished, the forums will be shut down for a while to transform. You'll be noted of this in advance.

Release Date - Monday, August 19, 2002
Finally one of the biggest mysteries (it has even been a subject of one of our polls) concerning Medieval: Total War has been solved. US 23rd August, UK 30th August, with the rest of the world to follow a few days later. These are ship dates so the game will hit the shelves a few days afterwards. That means the game will be available in 4 days! The game has also been received very well by popular magazines like PC Gamer UK and PC Format UK. The former, the best selling PC games magazine in the world, gave Medieval a score of 93%, hailing it as the best strategy game ever

Apart from this fantastic piece of news today we must also bring you some bad news. PlanetTotalWar's boss The Daimyo has mailed me saying that the company that owns his domain has sold his domain name without giving any money back and without any permission. This action is illegal and if this company doesn't collaborate The Daimyo will be taking them to court. We express our solidarity and hope that the great PTW will be up again as soon as possible. Good luck!
