| Hello, The forums crashed the server too many times yesterday. If I understand the message: another site is brought down due to its crashing as well. The host will move the forums to yet another server, but that may take up to 48 hours. I'll try to setup a temp forum on my homeserver (but time is something I don't have at the moment, I'm very sorry). | ||

| After a delayed start, extended Rounds, and fierce competition, it is my great pleasure to announce that the Clan Wars Competition 2004 Winter Games now has a Champion. From the 28 contending Clans, two Finalists have emerged victorious to fight in the Final Round. The Clans Takiyama and Silent Assassins. Congratulations to both Clans for making through the four Round melee, but as you know there eventually can be only one winner. After their heroic encounter this weekend, the SILENT ASSASSINS now stand as the undisputed Champions of the CWC 2004 Winter Competition. ALL HAIL THE GRAND KNIGHTS OF THE SILENT ASSASSINS – CHAMPIONS OF THE CLAN WARS COMPETITION 2004 WINTER GAMES!!!  Wow! With 28 Clans competing, that means there were a minimum of 112 individual players in the first Battle of the first Round alone. This was a huge contest, even by CWC standards. A truly awesome event! Thanks to all, for your participation. *bows* Tomisama *bows again* To round out the end of the Medieval Total War Era, the CWC is running two simulations Contests. The one, called the Knights Of Summer, provides a last chance for Registered Clans who are not involved in the second Contest, to enjoy the challenge of one last CWC MTW 4v4 competition before Rome Total War comes out. The KOS is already in progress. The other, The Clan Wars Competition Grand Championship, will be the culmination of 2003 Spring, 2003 Summer, 2003 Fall, and 2004 Winter Competitions. The Finalists from these Contests will come together one more time, to join in Battle against each other for the title of CWC Grand Champion of all Medieval Total War. | ||

| We have a heap of screenshots of Rome Total War online. Some are available in different resolutions and a few of these images are quite large so some patience may be required while they load. Hopefully we managed to find some rare ones for you. | Konnichiwa there may be some temporary forum interruptions for the next few hours while we back up and prune the forums in an attempt to reduce the number of errors generated by an overworked SQL database. Nothing will be lost forever from most of the forums, we will archive as much as we can, but the tavern may lose a number of the old threads, though they are very very rarely recalled/refreshed anyway. If worst comes to worst i have the entire content on my hard drive. In the near future we will be looking at upgrading the forum software, so we wont have to go through all this hassle again. | Over 160 games were played and to finish the league off the top two played a knockout out and 3rd and 4th played each other. the result was: 1 Mimesaka 2 Duck 3 Ishida 4 Yogi Award for most Generals killed was close Kansuke 12 from 16 games Yogi 11 from 13 games Ishida 10 from 13 games Award goes to Kansuke.. Special thanks to Stefan, Kansuke, Iggy, Em, Gaijin, Footloose, Duck, Zipper, Mimesaka and Ishida for getting stuck into this tourney and playing as many games as they could This was great fun to play and to run.
