| Sonic_Nights, the webmaster of ShogunZone has emailed me to inform the community that this great site is back online! The site has also undergone some serious aesthetic revamp and the new looks are really marvellous. The domain name is not active yet, but we should see shogunzone.com in a few days time. Also, the Luna Rossa clansite is back online too. A last thing surely worth mentioning: According to Hatamoto in this post, Total War II will be based on the Crusaders!, as he has got his spanking new PC Gamer UK... Of course we all wait Friday's Honour Day for confirmation of this speculation. | ||

| While we're waiting for the release of the expansion pack, The State has put up another interview with our old acquaintance Michael dePlater, who works as a creative director at Creative Assembly. While this is not (I repeat, NOT) yet the promised news release about the sequel to Shôgun: Total War, it is nevertheless interesting in its own right - a look inside the head of the person who was responsible for bringing us our game. After last week's inferno about the latest delay of The Mongol Invasion expansion pack, the Official Site has stated that the x-pack European ship date is the 17th August and US ship date is the 7th August along with the Warlord Edition pack (in the U.S. the Mongol Invasion will be available on-line from the EA-Store only). In addition rejoice because the dream of next full Total War game is coming! The official site will give more information on the next honour day... | Bad news this week as at the Official Site, the developers have announced that the Shogun: The Mongol Invasion's release will be delayed again because of Customer Quality Control (C.Q.C.) issues concerning game documentation. No definite dates yet, but the expansion pack should be in stores by the end of August. But at least today we also bring you a spark of nice news as one of our hosted sites, Terazawa's Resource Centre, has been nominated Site Of The Week by the Community Site. | PC Gamer, the leading UK games magazine has published a review of the official expansion pack, The Mongol Invasion. They gave it a whopping 95%, which is actually the second best score ever given by this magazine! Here are some cut-downs from the review: "Total War, total strategy, total genius.
