Tenki 1v1 Tourney Update - Monday, April 30, 2001
With around 90 players registered so far, registration may be stopped prematurely to limit the number of players to around 100. Anyone who has yet to register, but wants to play, will need to do so soon.

The tourney will be on May 13 7PM (GMT) and is almost assured to now carry over to May 20 because of the number of players interested. Notifications of initial groupings will soon be posted and/or e-mailed to participants.

The official tournament homepage is Tourney Page

If you have questions, please ask them in the Clan Forum here at the Sword Dojo.

Our great warrior Magyar Khan has finished v.3 of his marvellous online campaign, a very useful program for great campaigns between friends. Download it here. Try it out, it's fantastic!

Also, today we bring you some nice new sites:

Kikujiro's Dojo is a new resource site, made by an active member of the community.

In addition, some new clans appeared on the scene. These are Klan Shinobi, Les Croises, Fury Clan, Hell Hounds Clan, Clan Footworks and finally Clan Hirotaka.

All these new clans indicate that the shogun community is constantly growing. Probably we will see a clan boom around the release of the expansion pack. Stay tuned!

New and Revamped Sites - Friday, April 13, 2001
During these last weeks there were several revamped and new community sites. I'll try to list them all then.

Planet Total War has been revamped and now has some really good looks and information is now presented in a clearer and nicer way.

The Darkside Clan has a revamped site with some really nice flash animations. It is on a new address as well. Really worth a look, even to only see the fantastic presentation.

The Twin Tigers is a clan consisting of the merge of the Host Of Chaos and of the Chain Clan. Both have very experienced members, a hot prospect for clan history.

The Szu Warlords are a spanking new clan with very friendly members.

In addition, ShogunZone will be soon on a full domain name and the new address would be www.shogunzone.com. This will surely make this great site more accessible to all our community.

To all other clan sites: remember to post your site on this thread or else your clan will be out of our links!

The Sword Dojo - Sunday, April 1, 2001
The Dojo is back online after the server transfer, but .Org's Sword Dojo is still experiencing "slight" technical difficulties. -To be precise: all the threads that were transferred here from the old Dojo are read-only, which means that you cannot reply to them, only read them. (To be on the safe side, don't even try to reply - it won't work.)

However, this is situation is only temporary, and everything back to normal soon. In the mean time please feel free to start new threads (they will work fine and others can reply to them) + for more details please view Anssi's reply to Dan's thread in the General Discussion forum.
