Files: download & upload section - Saturday, December 29, 2001
The Files section at totalwar.org is changed to make it easier for you to find the files you need. You can also Upload your files for STW. There are two 'Tools' for this: one should be used to share testfiles, a file uploaded here will be directly available for download. The other serves for submitting 'final' files. Files submitted with this Tool are not directly available for download, but will be checked for bugs/virusses and posted by the staff.

All Sections are placed on one page: http://www.totalwar.org/maps. The first section has a link to the most Recent files.

The most important Recent file at this moment is the new MapPack 302. Available in 4 flavours: the full 302 (over 11 MB!) and an update from 301 (3.4 MB), both are available in zip and exe format.

Internet Medieval Sourcebook - Thursday, December 27, 2001
Internet Medieval Sourcebook really has everything concerning this period. Worth a look and some reading. Thanks to Katama-san for the link and Grim for pointing this out.

CORRECTION: Katama-san wrote me saying that he can not take credit for the link, he mentions that ShadesWolf was the first one who found this site for us (in the prisoners Thread). SO.....Thanks to ShadeSwolf.

Updated Maps - Saturday, December 8, 2001
EuroSan has just sent me the updated versions of his three maps: San_EuroMap, San_Yamagasan and San_Terasushi. Moreover, Magyar Khan has created a further set of three maps after weeks of hard work. These maps are Dornogobi Aimag, Khentii Aimag and Sukhbataar Aimag. All these maps have plenty of tactical opportunities and are really excellent, brought to you by two of the most experienced veterans of the game.

Download the zip files containing these six maps from our Maps/Mods/Tools area, in the section of maps made with the X-Pack editor.
